Student Action with Farmworkers promotes academic success, issue campaigns, and leadership development as a way to enhance organizing skills of farmworker youth in North Carolina. They also hold schools accountable for providing equitable education to immigrant students. Third Wave’s grant provided training for the new Migrant Youth Director to coordinate workshops on current farm labor issues for farmworker youth.
