Third Wave would not be as successful as it is without the hard work and dedication of our fabulous interns!

Here’s what some of our former interns have had to say about their experience.
[W]hen I first came to Third Wave, I was looking for some kind of connection. Then I got to appreciate that I shared some of the organization’s goals…Everyone’s diligence and care for the field they’re in is what makes this organization wonderful.
-Paola Reynoso, Fall 2007 Intern
I have acquired skills that I know will carry over not only to other job experiences, but also my everyday life. Not only have I met a group of people that I definitely plan to keep in touch with, but I have also had experiences that I feel differentiate me from most other people, especially those my age. My standards have also gotten higher because I am more sensitive to the underlying racism, classism, and sexism in society, and am committed to becoming a part of the change.
I really enjoyed my summer as the Development and Communications Intern for Third Wave. I learned so much that I did not know previously about the non-profit world and the organizational structure of a non-profit. I was also introduced to the world of philanthropy and learned so much about progressive organizations. Finally and perhaps most importantly, I met some very interesting people who I learned a lot from.
-Agatha Patterson, Summer 2007 Intern
As I wind up my internship at Third Eave, it’s hard not to look back and see how far I have managed to come in my learning curve and experience. I count myself quite lucky in getting this opportunity that allowed me to build on existing skills, learn new skills and grow in many ways more than I anticipated.
-Jyoti Venketraman, 2005-2006 Intern
The summer of 2007 has been one of the best experiences of my life. Because of my internship with Third Wave, I was able to work and connect with fantastic people. I feel a sense of accomplishment, as this is my first internship.
-Bethany Tabb, Summer 2007 RRASC Intern
Interning here was the best decision of my summer and I’m glad I stuck to it. I learned a lot about businesses and organizations…Thank you for everything you guys have taught me!
Nikita Sharma, Summer 2007 Intern
