The Women’s Employment and Leadership Development (WELD) develops women’s leadership through the formation of domestic workers’ cooperatives and through political education for multi-gendered groups of immigrant workers. The project empowers immigrant women to improve their social and economic conditions and play a leading role in the larger grassroots immigrant workers’ rights movement.
